Ciao, ho questo problema:
sul mio pc con windows 7 64bit ho messo, in una cartella in c:, la suite da 2 Gb.
Sono entrato come amministratore ed ho settato winPenPackNet affinchè parta all'entrata in windows e mi da correttamente la lista di tutti i programmi (con l'aiuto del bravissimo LordJim60).
Volevo fare la stessa cosa anche con l'utente X, che ha privilegi di amministratore.
In un primo tempo pensavo che entrato in windows con l'account utente X avrei trovato attivo winPenPackNet, ma non è stato così; allora ho provato a lanciare l'eseguibile winPenPackNet, ma mi da errore nel file xml.
Se però lancio i programmi a mano questi eseguono normalmente.
Sbaglio qualche cosa?
Mi potete dare qualche indicazione?

nella stessa cartella del programma winpenPackNet.exe c'è anche un file chiamato error.log, postalo.

Comunque tu hai qualche casino con i diritti sui files e cartelle, prova a selezionare la cartella principale di wpp e dare fullcontrol all'utente everyone. (tasto destro - proprietà - sicurezza. mi sembra... )

L'utente everyone non lo trovo, me ne da solo quattro, ho provato ad assegnare il privilegio a User ma non funziona.
Devo forse crearlo il gruppo utente everyone?

Allora, il gruppo Everyone esisteva già solo che non era attivo; comunque gli ho assegnato privilegio controllo totale; risultato non funziona.
Allora ho, sulla cartella che contiene la suite, richiamato, da sicurezza, l'utente X e gli ho assegnato, per quella cartella, il controllo completo, ma mi da sempre errore nel file .xml.
Non sarà perchè ne è padrone l'utente Administrator?

Non mi ci raccapezzo più!
