On the other hand, Firefox 6.0 is indeed compatible with Java SE 7, but Java SE 7 is not yet available on java.com. In fact, I've found that with Java SE 7.0 occur currently some issues, because it's impossible to use websites with Java applets. Is it not far more useful, that the download of Firefox 6.0 will offered earliest with the completion of Java SE 7.0 for end users? [ Edited Wed 17 Aug 2011 - 17:01 ]

In it, I've created a virtual machine with installed OS Windows XP Home SP3. In this VM I have installed Firefox 6.0 in conjunction with JRE 6 Update 26. After I have selected the website -Link- , I want to play the game Backgammon. Here will be started a Java applet, but this was not possible. Then I tested the same procedure (Firefox 6.0 + JRE 6 Update 26) on my real PC and it worked flawlessly. Consequently, my virtual machine was the cause of incompatibility between Firefox 6.0 and JRE 6 Update. [ Edited Wed 17 Aug 2011 - 23:33 ]
