Descrizione: FAR è a tutti gli effetti un clone di Norton Commander, è un programma Windows 32/64 bit che funziona in modalità testo (text mode).

- multilanguage: inglese, spagnolo, tedesco, ungherese, polacco, cecoslovacco, russo.
Una volta lanciato utilizzare i tasti funzione da F1 a F12.
Attualmente dovrebbe essere il migliore file manager in circolazione.

Portable tips how-to:
1. creare una directory a piacere (es. FAR)
2. scaricare il file "Far30b2397.x86.20120117.7z" e scompattarlo
3. lanciare il file "Far.exe"

Test: non testato
vedere il contenuto del file "Far.exe.example.ini" per sapere il comportamento del programma sul sistema.

Ciao! io sto usando far manager oramai da anni (addirittura da quando ancora non era open source): non e' che sia molto portabile (anzi!!)... infatti, attualmente salva tutte le sue preferenze direttamente nel registro (anche perche' le entrate possibili sono chiaramente definite con l'entrata far2).

Io mi sono costruito un ini che piu' o meno salva i dati dal registro e li ripristina alla ripartenza, e, tra l'altro, vista la mia completa ignoranza di agire sul registro (con wpp), alla fine ho tirato in ballo delle procedure batch (modificando un po' quelle originali) per il save/restore: se ci fosse qualche anima pia che potesse dare una mano, beh, sarei piu che felice!
