At the first start of LibreOffice 3.4.6 [rev7] I changed the language to Germany (for both the GUI and the dictionary). However, the GUI of LibreOffice continues to appear in english language. What must I do to change the language?

You have made a first installation or an update?
I just tested a fresh install and it works after selecting the german language.

Unfortunately I have done a downgrade from my installed newer version LibreOffice 3.5.1 [rev9] to the older version LibreOffice 3.4.6 [rev7]. Probably this was the reason for the language problem. Now I have done an upgrade from the older version to the newer version. And it's all ok.
