I tried to extract the file picpick_inst.exe (regarding the new version 3.1.8) with X-UniExtract 1.6.1 [rev4]. Unfortunately without any success. The extracted file picpick.exe is damaged. In contrast, extracting work fine with X- 7zip.

Has anyone an idea, why the extraction doesn't work with X-UniExtract 1.6.1 [rev4]?

Hi dropper,
the extracion of PicPick fail because X-UniExtract is bundled with an old version of 7zip extractor (9.13); that's why if you use X-7Zip directly, that is updated at 9.22 version, the extraction is successfull.

Thanks for your explanation. Is it therefore sufficient, if I replace the old file 7z.exe (version 9.13) with the latest file 7z.exe (version 9.22) within the folder winpenpack\Bin\Uniextract\bin. But I found in this folder another file 7z.dll. Must I also replace this file?

Yes, you have to replace both.

Anyhow, I'm planning to pack a new version of X-UniExtract updating the outdated softwares, not only 7zip but also upx, lzop and so on.
