Your suggestion sounds very interesting, but I think would require a little work... For example, X-Launcher could uncompress the single X-Program you run, use it and, when closing, compress it back. This would allow users to store X-programs .ZIP files directly, without need to install them.I think this could be a good idea for just for programs having few files. But I think also that it would be very difficult to perform for some programs, like X-OpeOffice, X-Gimp, etc.Anyway, thank you for your suggestion! I've called it "X-Registry".
