The Dude

un'applicazione freeware che permette di analizzare la propria rete in un batter d'occhio.

Questa non ha nulla da invidiare a blasonati prodotti commerciali in quanto oltre al semplice discovery
(completo di nome e tipo di device) aiuta a tenere monitorati servizi, avvisando l'amministratore di rete in
caso di disservizi.

La cosa interessante del software è che, nonostante sia stato scritto per Windows, lo sviluppatore ha
cercato di renderlo eseguibile e pienamente funzionante su Linux usando Wine.

*ALT* estrarre il file con universal extractor e avviare il programma senza installazione

Aggiunge una chiave in:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Dude

e due valori, per quello che ho provato del suo utilizzo:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Dude\dude-server-pid: 0x00000344
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Dude\dude-server-tid: 0x00000524
