As a Win98 user, I ned an older version of Inkscape (0.42.2).

Yes, I can use, on XP computers, my Inkscape 0.45, but on my home computer (with win98), it´s impossible without some hack.

Can be placed here for download some X-Inkscape version 0.42.2? Only a suggestion ...

Welcome to winPenPack.

In our download section are presents only the latest versions of x-softwares, but you can create your personal X-Inkscape.
You have to download from "X-Programs Launcher section" the X-Inkscape launcher ( -Link-

) and place the inkscape original files of 0.42.2 version into the \Bin\Inkscape folder.
To launch the application >> double click on X-Inkscape.exe
