hi - first of al - pleas pardon me for going to be " a pain in the neck " - but you will tell when to stop - ok ?

now the problem ...

I installed wpp-2gb and used it as a base for the new menu - within the same program. created a new "category" and dragged a working program to this category.

by opening the properties of this program - to change the "short description" a small window will pop up - saying nothing else then "ERROR" --> but the programcall worked properly afterwards without changing anything.
the error remaind for a while

after a few manipulations - like closing the program - restarts and others ? the error was gone without changing anything within the "properties"

but --> the error can be reproduced - at least here !

any hint ?

Hi JCL,
I am sorry, but I cannot reproduce this behavior. I tried your sequence, creating a new category, but, both dragging another program from the menu or a new program from the pendrive, I never had errors. Did the dragged program reside in the same disk where the menu is? This is mandatory!
Could you please depict more deeply the steps? Thank you!
Best Regards
ZioZione

hello again ZioZione

to answer your questions ...

yes it was on the same disk ( harddisk )
and it was even within the same menu.

I created the menu using wpp-2gb - and added - like described a new category.
That was the target for the program that I dragged.

I realise thats not enough facts - if no one else ever had the problem - so let it rest until I know more

thanks again

Hi JCL,

I also tried to reproduce the error you described, but failed to do it, so I can imagine it was a temporary strange behaviour by Your side.
Anyway, are You able to reproduce it once again in to your wPP? If Yes, please describe again the right sequence You use for.

Many thanks in advance for your feedback and help for a better understanding of this strange isuue.
