Is it possible to use my own desktop, rather than using the desktop on the PC I am using

Unfortunately, at this moment, what you are requesting is not performable. This is mainly due to the strict relation between user settings and desktop settings.
Of course, if you find something that could help to perform this task, you are welcome to signal us

Thanks, the only reason I asked is that a friend has a "U3 Scandisk" and they have this option.
