It's not correct to copy the appropriate file *.dll in the folder X-Firefox\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins. Instead you must install the Adobe Flash Player on your Windows OS. In a first step you should uninstall a previous (older) version of the Flash Player, which is installed on your PC. For that purpose download the uninstaller. Afterwards exit your browser X-Firefox and follow the instructions under No.3. In a last step restart your computer. Now you can download the Adobe Flash Player 11.4.402.265. Again close your browser X-Firefox and run now the installer of the Flash Player. I hope that these instructions help you. [ Edited Fri 24 Aug 2012 - 14:24 ]

This issue (freezing) is remarked very often also on installed Firefox. so, info for both: keep the old one 11.2 dll in "\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins" or use the new 11.4 dll and be happy!! (since 11.4 Adobe has solved this issue.) [ Edited Fri 24 Aug 2012 - 15:30 ]

If I understand you correctly, then I can copy the file "NPSWF32_11_4_402_265.dll" from the folder C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash (I use the OS Windows XP SP3) and paste it in the folder D:\wpp_full_4.0-beta2\winpenpack\Lib\Mozilla\Plugins (that's the special path on my PC). Afterwards I can uninstall the Flash Player from PC. Still, I could use the Adobe Flash Player with X-Firefox browser. Is that right? But I found a lot of other files in the folder C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash. Is it enough anyway, that I just copy and paste the file "NPSWF32_11_4_402_265.dll" as described above?

In the Firefox support I found now a possible solution for that problem. Indeed the failure occurs only in conjunction with Flash 11.3. Here now the workaround for Flash 11.3.
Another possibility would be to use the new Flash 11.4.
