Hello,

First time post.

I have an issue concerning BlogBridge RSS reader installation.
After I have installed the package and it automatically downloads the associated java package for it, the program opens and runs fine.

The problem is once i have closed the program and then open it up again, either after reboot or a few minutes later, it goes through the setup menu in the program all over again.

It will not retain the rss feed information that I have added into the program.

I have tried the actual desktop program and that one runs fine and retains all the rss files I had entered in.
But this portable version keeps resetting itself to first install mode, every time I go to open it up.

It does however, retain the .opml file in the .bb folder oddly enough.

Any Ideas/help would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi mirazh1238, welcome to our forum!
I think that the main problem you encountered was related to the "age" of this X-Program, that has been built on an older version of X-Launcher and has not been updated since 2009. That old launcher could have some problems under newest OS as Vista or Seven (mainly from registry point of view).
You can fix this behavior downloading the later X-Launcher version -Link- .
Extract X-Launcher.exe from the zip file, rename it as "X-BlogBridge.exe" and replace the old X-BlogBridge.exe with this new executable. X-BlogBridge should work correctly from now on (as I tested just one minute ago).
Can you try and let us know if this fixes your problem?
Best Regards

Thank You.

Yes,
your posted fix solution worked perfectly.
All feeds are retained and launched after initial setup and program shutdown.
Program setup configuration, only initializes on first start up as it should.

Yep, everything seems to be working well.
If something new comes up, I'll report back.

Thanks Again!
