Il programma è velocissimo e funziona bene.

Portable tips how-to: scaricare il file 'File_Workshop.zip' e scompattarlo. Lanciare l'eseguibile 'File Workshop.exe' contenuto nella cartella 'File_Workshop'.

Ciao rbon,
grazie per la segnalazione, in effetti il programmino non è niente male... e, naturalmente, è portatile al 100%

Ho solo rilevato un problema: il "Cancel" durante le ricerche (almeno a me) non sortisce alcun effetto e manda in freeze (apparente) il programma. In altre parole, continua la ricerca fregandosene altamente delle interruzioni...
Mi sono poi permesso di aggiornare la tua scheda con gli "Extra Tools" che mi sembrano altrettanto interessanti.

in effetti avevo scritto al programmatore che mi ha risposto così:

The "Cancel" button works, but under some circumstances when the searching thread is very busy (yes, it's multithreading) it's difficult to interfere and abort or may works but not immediately.

I already know about it and maybe I will improve this function (make it more "aggressive") in a future release.

Anyway, this is not a bug and it will not hurt your system in any way.

staremo a vedere per la prossima release.

Hello my neighbors, I am Andreas Demakopoulos, the author of "File Workshop". I said "neighbors" because I live in Athens, Greece.

I am writing in English because I don't know Italic (but I can read the topic through Google translator).

In the first place I would like to thank the admins for their attention and I hope this tiny program to be really helpful for you.

Secondly, I would like to mention that the above program has been updated. The "Cancel" function has been improved, as I promised, and working fine. The comparison algorithm has been really optimized, so I can proudly say it's the fastest file comparator out there! Also a few things added. I strongly recommend to update your listings to the newer v1.1.1.23, because of an important bug the 1.1.0.25 had.
