JavaGet - Java portable
In the sphere of a series of actions aimed at the project modernization, contemplating the automation and/or streamlining of certain procedures, the winPenPack Team announces the birth of a new utility: JavaGet. This program, which is contained into the packs and into the X-Softwares that require Java, deals with automating the management of the installation or upgrade of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) directly in the \Lib\Java folder, therefore avoiding the user all the operations until now required (download of the latest version of the JRE, installation on the host PC, copy the \bin and \lib folders under \Lib\Java, uninstall Java) and maintain all our project in complete compliance with the various licenses.

Salve a tutti, ottima iniziativa, vorrei solo chiedere se, a chi come me, usa wpp su hard disk, si potrebbe dare la possibilità di scegliere se disinstallare o meno java da HD, grazie.

Mi sono spiegato male, intendevo dire, io uso sia java su wpp che sul pc, usando questa funzione mi disinstalla in automatico anche java dal pc ed questa la mia domanda, non si potrebbe fare in modo che la disinstallazione possa essere fatta a scelta dell'utente e non in automatico? grazie.

JavaGet NON disinstalla Java dall'Hd! Semplifica solo queste operazioni, cioè scarica ed estrae il setup in \Lib\Java.

sembra inteso che disinstalla java da HD, se così non è tanto meglio...

@domino: le operazioni da te riportate sono proprio quelle che la presenza di JavaGet EVITA di dover fare manualmente (nel caso non si abbia già Java installato, altrimenti, ovviamente, basta copiarlo sotto wPP...).
In ogni caso, l'unica copia di Java interessata da questa operazione è quella "portatile" presente sotto \winPenPack\Lib\Java. L'eventuale Java installato sul PC non viene assolutamente toccato.

Super, magnifica, splendida, mondiale, fantastica utility!!!

Veramente un'idea geniale che aiuta anche chi non smaliziato oppure non ha voglia di "sbattersi"... insomma rende la vita più semplice!!!
