On my host PC I have additionally installed JRE 6 Update 33. When I take a look via the button Firefox -> Add-ons, I could detect, that both JRE (6u33 and 7u5) was activated. Also I go into about:config and set plugin.expose_full_path to "true". Then I go into about:plugins. It will show me the full paths of both JRE (6u33 and 7u5) and so I can see which version/location is being used. My question is therefore, which JRE (6u33 or 7u5) is actually used by the X-Firefox browser and how can I verify this? [ Edited Thu 14 Jun 2012 - 14:56 ]

This issue occurs always in connection with the visit of the website -Link- . On this website I have tried in vain to connect me with the game server for backgammon. The connection to this game server will use the JRE. However this does not work with JRE 6 Update 33. With the JRE 7 Update 5 the connection works fine. For this reason I have disabled the JRE 6 Update 33 in the Firefox browser (via the button Firefox -> Add-ons). Because of these findings it is near for me to assume that in the event of activation of both the JRE 6 Update 33 and JRE 5 Update 7 the Firefox browser apparently uses the JRE 6 Update 33. On my business pc I have both installed JRE6 and portable (JRE7) versions of Java. I'm using the latest X-Firefox 13, distributed with the new 1.5.0 launcher that can detect the version of the installed Java and the portable Java, and tell to X-Firefox to use the more updated ; so on my addons page I see only the JRE7.

However as I mentioned in my original message, in the Addon Manager of X-Firefox 13.0 will appears both JRE (6u33 and 7u5). So I have no other option than to disable the JRE 6 Update 33. What for a OS do you use?
