wpp essentials doesn't fit on 256mb stick

Hi everybody,

thanks a lot for developing this great tool!!!

Trying to install the new 3.2 essential english language version to my 256mb stick, I had to realize that it doesn't fit. Is that really true or am I making something wrong during the installation?

Welcome to winPenPack

The required space on Pen Drive USB for wPP essential (english-multilingual version) is around 198 Mb...
Did you download the setup.exe or the .zip archive+language_pack.zip?

Hi Danix,

I've tried all of these: The setup-exe says during installation that it could not install to the stick, because it needs app. 278mb (or so). Then I've installed the zip-file to the stick (197mb on the stick), but when I unzipp the language file it says 94mb - and trying to copy it to the stick ends after a while eventually with 'no more space available'

I have to correct the download page

Suggestion: extract the zipped file+language pack on your hd (in 2 different folders) >> search for "locale" on language pack >> remove all lang you don't need >> overwrite the winPenPack (italian) main directory with the (small now!) language pack >> copy winPenPack on your USB Pen

Hi Danix,

looks OK for me!
As you said, I've deleted all other language files (besides the 'de'-files) in all the several 'locale'-folders I found in the language pack, copied the pack to the main folder and had only 198mb left for the stick - great!!!
