[It] SMPlayer è un player multimediale basato su MPlayer ed è in grado di leggere un gran numero di formati audio e video senza necessità di installare codec aggiuntivi. Fra le più interessanti caratteristiche di SMPlayer c'è quella di ricordare il punto esatto nel quale la riproduzione di un file è stata interrotta e di riprendere esattamente dallo stesso punto mantenendo tutti i settaggi propri del file (volume, tottotitoli, tracce, etc..).

[En] SMPlayer intends to be a complete front-end for MPlayer, from basic features like playing videos, DVDs, and VCDs to more advanced features like support for MPlayer filters and more. One of the most interesting features of SMPlayer: it remembers the settings of all files you play. So you start to watch a movie but you have to leave... don't worry, when you open that movie again it will resume at the same point you left it, and with the same settings: audio track, subtitles, volume, etc..
