[It] Upx è un programma open source, creato da Markus F.X.J. Oberhumer e László Molnár, che permette di comprimere i file eseguibili (.exe) e le librerie dinamiche (.dll ) lasciandoli però eseguibili. Ciò significa che dopo la compressione questi file continueranno a funzionare come prima, ma occuperanno meno spazio. UPX Shell fa da interfaccia grafica a Upx, facilitandone l'uso. Supporta la lingua italiana e la multicompressione.
