hello,

problems arise when dragging a link - from the 64 bit-program-directory - to wpp !

the ( working ) link uses the fallowing reference

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Mahjong\Mahjong.exe"

that translates wpp to

$Drive\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Mahjong\Mahjong.exe

don't ask why I use this example

as you see the wrong directory is used

Q: is this a known bug ?

Hi JCL,
I have started to use seven few days ago, and I have the same problem, that seems extended to all applications at 32bit toward the 64 bit environment.
It seems that it is not possible to do a drag and drop between an application at 64 bit and one at 32 ( It seems! ), while between 32 vs 32 all work fine.
For examlpe, if you try to use x-mnuCommander you should be able to use the files drag and drop functionalities because the program is at 32 bit.
Let me know.
Bye.

--- EDIT ---
sorry JCL, I have misunderstood your message.
I believed that you are speaking about another problem.

I will verify the problem and I will take note of the BUG

sorry JCL

no reason to be

if you realy bother to check my post - just take a program-link that points to the 64 bit directory and drop it somewhere onto wPP - you will see ...

have a good time
