 [It] "Fratello maggiore" dell'apprezzatissimo e già portabilizzato MediaPlayerClassic, Media Player Home Cinema vede per la prima volta il supporto all’Italiano, ai files M2TS con H264, VC1, AC3, DTS, LPCM e maggior compatibilità con il sistema operativo Windows Vista. Per chi non avesse mai sentito parlare di questo player multimediale, si ricorda che nasce come clone di Windows Media Player 6.4 (ecco spiegata la sua immagine spartana e minimalista) ed è un must per i patiti dell’ HD (alta definizione) dato l’uso professionale dei codec per il rendering in output. Nulla vieta in ogni caso l’utilizzo su PC con schede grafiche non recenti dato il suo bassissimo consumo di risorse. Decoding supportati: riproduzione di MPEG-1, MPEG-2 e MPEG-4. Permette la riproduzione di VCD, SVCD e DVD senza avere la necessità di installare codecs aggiuntivi. Infatti il programma integra i codecs per MPEG-2 video e per LPCM, MP2, AC3 e DTS audio. Integra anche uno splitter MPEG avanzato ce supporta la riproduzione di VCDs e SVCDs usando il suo lettore VCD/SVCD/XCD. A *.mp4 and MPEG-4 Timed Text support added. Un filtro di decodifica AAC permette di riprodurre AAC in MP4. Inoltre supporta anche H.264 e VC-1 con DXVA. Riproducibili anche i formati DIVX, Xvid e Flash. Può utilizzare anche le architetture QuickTime e RealPlayer. Implementa il supporto nativo per i formati container OGM e Matroska.
