In conjunction with X-Firefox 3.6.20 [rev18] I get an error message that the browser can't be started (in the case of the use of X-Tor 0.2.1.30 [rev9] in conjunction with X-Firefox 3.6.20 [rev18] everything works fine). If I use X-Tor 0.2.2.32 [rev10] in conjunction with X-Firefox 6.0.1 [rev4], then it's possible to start Firefox. However, then the message "Tor enabled" is not displayed in the lower right corner of the browser's window. Therefore I can't surf anonymous in this case.

;(X-Firefox integration)
to:
I think it is enough, but I don't know if Torbutton v1.4.2 (included in the last X-Tor release) is compatible with Firefox 3. If not, copy the {e0204bd5-9d31-402b-a99d-a6aa8ffebdca} folder from attached torbutton.zip into \User\Firefox-3\Profiles\Default\extensions. [ Edited Mon 05 Sep 2011 - 21:08 ]

For a short period (when Firefox where just released in version 4) we had a different folders structure, and also different executables names (for allowing to use both X-Firefox-3 and X-Firefox-4). Now that the situation is more stable, we have returned to the usual "X-Firefox.exe" notation. But this requires that X-Tor must be adapted to one of the X-Firefox versions (as depicted above by Danix). Probably (we have to decide it), due to the actual incompatibility of Torbutton and Firefox 6, X-Tor will be released only in a version compatible with X-Firefox-3. But in the future this problem may arise again, so is better to search in the forum for these two possible solutions... Best Regards ZioZione

Torbutton is compatible with Firefox 6! Or at least it seems (test NEEDED ). I have released today X-Tor 0.2.2.32 [rev10] to use in conjunction with X-Firefox 6.0.1. Unfortunately, I now constantly get the following error message: Proxy-Server is refusing the connection. Maybe a problem in Polipo configuration. Is the field "Proxy Application Arguments" in "General" tab empty? However, try the below package I've created with X-Tor latest version to use in conjunction with X-Firefox 3. I have no problem with this: X-Tor_0.2.2.32_rev10_X-Fx-3 [ Edited Sun 02 Oct 2011 - 01:42 ]
