[En] The Guide is an application that allows you create documents ("guides") which inherently have a tree (which you can modify as you please) and text associated with each node of the tree. The text itself is of the rich-text variety, and the editor allows you to modify the style and formatting of the text (fonts, bold, italics etc).

Thank you for this program. There is a registry setting that is also needed to make this portable:

MainKey=HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

[WriteToReg=$Home$\$AppName$\$AppName$_1.reg]

Sorry, the code for the XGuide.ini file did not seem to come out correctly. I will try again.

Hi MicRoe,

have you updated the launcher to [rev2] version?

In the new .ini, I have set:

[WriteToIni=$Bin$\$AppName$\guide.ini]
main|portable=1


So, no registry setting is written except:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\FileExts\.gde
